The MPC Theatre Company presents a unique adaptation of Frank Capra’s classic film “It’s a Wonderful Life,” that starred Jimmy Stewart, Donna Reed and Lionel Barrymore. Believing his life to be a complete failure, George Bailey plans on throwing himself off a bridge on Christmas Eve…until his Guardian Angel Clarence shows George what life in his hometown of Bedford Falls would be like, had he never existed, helping George and everyone else realize just how wonderful life really is. This beloved Christmas tale has become a holiday tradition, and will be performed just as it was for the Lux Radio Theatre production back in the 1940’s. With music and sound effects created on stage, Merry Christmas George Bailey will transport you back to those golden days when families gathered round the radio, and listened to magic as it was created over the airways.
